The challenge

Initial PoV scoped for MCP setup and recommendation engine grew into a full Assessment plus Mobilize engagement. Armakuni now owns the architecture that runs the SAM platform's data ingestion, intelligence, and reporting stack.

Armakuni delivered event-driven SMS campaign automation, MCP integration layer, AI-powered recommendation engine, and QuickSight analytics dashboards. The engagement ran as two fixed-scope SOWs: Migration Assessment and Mobilize Phase. AWS funded the work at $12,000.

The outcomes

Manual CSV uploads eliminated from the campaign activation workflow. Real-time event ingestion from Adora, Clover, and Shopify means campaigns activate as orders arrive, not hours later when a human uploads a file.

A single reusable MCP integration layer replaced per-system custom connectors. Adding a new POS or marketplace integration no longer means building separate logic from scratch, and the MCP pattern is the foundation for every future system connection.

AI-powered item-level recommendations are live in production. Built on actual order history, they let the platform generate upsell messaging tied to what customers actually bought rather than generic outreach.

Campaign performance and segmentation are visible to non-technical users for the first time. QuickSight dashboards replace a situation where leadership had no reliable way to measure what was working.

$54,000 in AWS funding covered the full cost of the Mobilize phase. The net cost to the platform for the Assessment and Mobilize phases combined was zero.
