Get an AI model that knows your business, and keep your IP.

Easily build your own AI model without giving away your edge and IP is a free, one-hour live workshop. A smaller model, trained on one company's knowledge, answers beside a frontier model on the same test, trained and served inside that company's own AWS account.

What you'll get

  • Which task is worth a model of your own
  • How your data, prompts and weights stay yours
  • When a smaller model beats a frontier one, and what it costs

11 am ET · 8 am PT · 16:00 UK · online, one hour, free

We'll email you the link and a calendar invite.

We spend a few hours with your team choosing the task worth a model of your own and the knowledge to train it on, and leave you with the plan. Free, booked for a date that suits you.

Free. We use these details only for this workshop.

A good model that knows your business beats a genius that doesn't.

For a narrow, high-volume task, a smaller open model trained on your knowledge can match or beat a frontier model, at a fraction of the cost per answer.

Trained and served in your own AWS account, its weights stay yours, your data never passes through anyone else's platform, and when a better base model comes out, you train again.

What you'll take away from the hour

  • 01

    The right task

Most tasks don't need a model of your own. It pays on a task that runs at high volume, stays narrow and is judged the same way every time.

  • 02

    Your IP stays yours

The model learns from your knowledge, runs in your own AWS account and belongs to you.

  • 03

    Cheaper and sharper

Trained on one job, a small model can do it better than a big general one, and each answer costs a fraction as much.

What we work out before training anything

These questions are how we find the task on your list that is worth a model of its own, if there is one.

  1. 1

    The task

We look for the job your AI does over and over, always the same narrow kind of answer, marked right or wrong the same way each time.

  2. 2

    The knowledge

What makes your people good at it, and where it lives: the data, the processes, the experts' calls.

  3. 3

    What may never leave

The data, the prompts, the outputs and the weights, and what today's contracts say about each.

  4. 4

    The licence

Which open models' licences allow what you want to do.

  5. 5

    The quality bar

A test set with known answers, and who signs it off.

  6. 6

    Where it runs

Training and serving in your own AWS account, and the cost against today's bill.

Only then is anything trained, and only for the first task, with its data, your IP rules written down, a quality bar and a cost case agreed.

What we bring

The method we build every model and product with.

  • AK AI Factory

Our method for building with AI: people write the spec and make the calls, AI agents build and test, and gates check every change before a person approves it.

Your factory, your repos, your numbers; nothing locked to us.

One hour, run by the engineers who do the work

  1. See it

A smaller open model fine-tuned on an example task, scored against a frontier model on the same test set, inside an AWS account with its weights stored there.

  2. How it's built

Picking the task, the knowledge, training, and the tests it must pass before it answers a customer.

  3. Your questions

Bring the work only your people know how to do.

The private workshop: a few hours with your team

We sort your AI tasks with you and pick the one worth a model of your own, then write down the rules for your IP before anything is trained.

Who comes

The CTO or head of AI, the data owner, someone from legal or security, and a product owner.

What to bring

The AI tasks you run most, and any contract terms about where your data may go.

Your data

Nothing has to leave your systems for the workshop; training, later, happens in your own AWS account.

What you leave with

  • The first task for a model of your own
  • The data it needs
  • Your IP rules, written down
  • The quality bar and the cost case

Before you sign up

Is the workshop free?

Yes, the workshop costs nothing. Training a model is the only part that costs money, and we don't train one unless the cost case shows it will pay.

Will you push us to train a model?

No. If a frontier model is the right answer for your task, and for many tasks it is, we'll tell you so.

Is training a model expensive?

It depends on the task and the volume. We work out the cost of training and serving against today's bill, on your own numbers, before anything is trained.

Who owns the model?

You do. It's trained and served in your own AWS account, and the weights are stored there.

What happens after?

A benchmark on your task, then your own model live on one workload in about 90 days.
